She started out singing in bars and participated in several singing competitions.

The name of this song, “三十而慄”, is a created idiom. The original one is “三十而立”. (The pronunciation is the same,” sān shí ér lì”.)
The meaning of “三十而立” is “As a human being should be an independent person, have a stable career and a wonderful family at the age of thirty.”
This is a traditional concept of Chinese cloture.
However, in this modern age, it is getter harder to get “success” at the age of thirty.
The meaning of “慄” is “tremble”.
This song describes the fear of the generation of 25~30.
